The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested two Indian nationals namely Rustam Pal of Mathura and Rahul Dhiman of Himachal Pradesh who supplied malana cream charas to different drug mafias in Uttar Pradesh.
Based on secret information received from a reliable source that one person namely Dhiman was carrying huge quantities of charas concealed in his Hyundai Ascent car, a team of the NCB officers were constituted and a close surveillance was kept on the suspected person nearby Yamuna Expressway Toll Plaza.
On March 23, one green coloured Hyundai arrived at the expressway and the team intercepted the car with driver Dhiman. The officials could recover sixty packets of charas concealed in the specially modified cavity in the left back door and dickey of the car.
Dhiman during his interrogation revealed that the drugs he was carrying belonged to a person from Mathura, adding that person instructed him to bring the consignment from a person based at Kullu.
Dhiman further revealed that he had been carrying drugs for that person since the last eight to nine months. Following the input provided by Dhiman, Pal who was supposed to receive the consignment was also arrested by the NCB team.
