The Congress Party on Wednesday described the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) as a divided and sulking house in Bihar.

"The NDA is totally divided in Bihar. Earlier, it boasted that that they have reached a settlement with their allies over seat sharing, but now, no one seems to be happy," Congress leader P L Punia told ANI here.

"Whether it is Jitan Ram Manjhi, Upendra Kushwaha or Ram Vilas Paswan, all three are upset in this alliance. The NDA allies are sulking over the number of seats allotted to them," he added.

Punia also said the number of resignations and the verbal volleys between the NDA allies shows that the alliance in Bihar is on the verge of breaking.

"It seems that they (NDA) have faltered well before the start of the elections," he added.

Punia further criticised the NDA alliance for not declaring their chief ministerial candidate, saying that they don't have a face for the Bihar elections, because Prime Minister Narendra Modi is that face.
