The film adaption of Nelson Mandela's memoir 'Long Walk to Freedom' will have its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival in September.
Idris Elba, the 'Luther' star, would play South Africa's anti-apartheid icon in the film, the BBC reported.
The other films to be screened at the festival include 'The Fifth Estate', a film based on Julian Assange starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the WikiLeaks founder.
Colin Firth starrer 'The Railway Man' and 'August: Osage Country' with Meryl Streep will also debut at the event.
