Nepali Congress, Communist Party of Nepal- Maoist Centre and United Democratic Madhesi Front on Saturday formed a nine-member committee to achieve what they called a political understanding.
The meeting of the three parties was held at the office of State Affairs Committee in Singha Durbar in Kathmandu, where a panel comprising of three leaders from each side was formed.
Reports suggest the panel would prepare a modality for power sharing among the parties for the new government which is expected to be formed under the leadership of CPN-Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
It is now expected that UDMF is likely to extend its support to the new government.
