An Italian book which teaches new wives to be submissive has angered feminists who have called for a ban on it.
The book, titled 'Get Married and Be Submissive', which suggested that new brides should practice "loyal obedience, generosity and submission" for a fulfilling marriage and also offers advice on how to please husbands, sparked a protest by the feminists, who staged a public demonstration against the book, the Daily Express reported.
The book, which argues that women "like humiliation because it is for a greater good", authored by Costanza Miriano became a bestseller on Amazon after it was published in November, in Italy.
