Several restaurants in New York poured Russian vodka on streets in protest of the country's harsh anti-gay laws.
Last month Russian President Vladimir Putin signed laws that banned homosexual propaganda and the adoption of Russian-born children to gay couples.
'Shame on Russia!' Johnny Donovan said, as several models working for his company, J Donovan Productions, poured out bottles of Stoli.
Donovan added that he would not drink any Russian vodka when he goes to a club.
According to the New York Daily News, the legislation led the United Restaurant and Tavern Owners Association of New York to organize the protest.
The president of the group, Paul Hurley, said 200 Manhattan restaurants have agreed to stop serving Russian vodka until the policy is changed, the report added.
