Teenaged South Korean-born New Zealand golfer Lydia Ko, who has just turned professional, can reportedly become a millionaire just by signing a management deal like Tiger Woods and countless others have done previously.

Ko, who has previously been linked to a stand-alone management deal worth around six million dollars, has also seen 1.8 million dollars in prize money earned on the course slip, which would have put a fledgling career well on the way towards the Ladies PGA's career money list.

According to Stuff.co.nz, a number of agencies are still courting Ko, with world-famous group IMG leading the pack, which might make Ko the biggest star ever seen in the women's game given her Asian heritage and the boom in women's golf.

The report mentioned that Ko is also close to negotiating a deal to leverage her commercial strategy, especially in the Korean and Japanese markets, which is also likely to be in the multimillion-dollar region.

In 2005, the previous biggest prodigy of the women's game, American Michelle Wie, signed deals with Sony and Nike worth 11.7 million dollars a year, the report added.
