India's largest subscription-led video entertainment app nexGTv has acquired the worldwide digital rights to SAS Entertainment, an emerging digital entertainment company with a content library that comprises music tracks, movies, music videos, dialogues and mobile content such as ringtones and wallpapers.

The move will allow nexGTv users across the globe to access more than 20,000 tracks available in SAS Entertainment's regional content library, and underlines the platform's commitment to curate and enable the best India-centric content to its users.

A digital media entertainment company, SAS Entertainment started operations in 2014 and has, within a short span of two years, acquired exclusive rights for more than 6000 Bhojpuri, 3000 Punjabi, 1000 Odia, and 2000 Haryanvi tracks, as well as 4000 tracks in South Indian languages and 5000 tracks in other Indian regional languages.

Its huge content repository also consists of international content like funny, extreme sports, Hollywood gossips and much more, and targets primarily the young audiences looking for a quick dose of entertainment.

"We, at nexGTv, had always curated and delivered the most relevant entertainment solutions to our diverse consumer base, both within the country and abroad. Our partnership with SAS Entertainment is a yet another step towards fulfilling our vision wherein our users will be able to experience a wider selection of popular regional entertainment content on-the-go," said COO nexGTv, Abhesh Verma.

"We are confident that our viewers will appreciate this latest addition and enjoy a seamless access to locally relevant video-based entertainment content," added Verma.

All content from SAS Entertainment will be made available as a part of the paid packages on nexGTv, and can be viewed seamlessly on its web and mobile platforms.
