The National Health Service Choir has left behind Justin Bieber and has captured Britain's official Christmas number one song.
The 21-year-old singer's 'Love Yourself' was ahead previously, but then Bieber tweeted that he wanted fans to do the right thing and boost the charity single to the coveted spot, reports Channel 24.com.
The choir's mash-up 'A Bridge Over You' finished nearly 31,000 copies ahead of Bieber in the singles competition, although he still commands three of the top five spots.
Commenting on their success, the choir said, "it is a brilliant celebration for the NHS across the country, so well done and thank you everyone.
