The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on arrested a person from a railway station in Kolkata, suspected of carrying out militant activities and playing a role in the Burdwan blast case.
The man, suspected to be associated with militant organisation Jamaat-ul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), was caught from Sealdah railway station in West Bengal.
The agency has so far arrested 18 suspected militants in the case.
The accused has been identified as Wahab Momin, a resident of Murshidabad district in West Bengal. According to the NIA, he is a trained member of the Bangladesh-based militant outfit.
The accused was produced in court in Kolkata on Sunday.
Lawyer of National Investigation Agency, Shyamal Ghosh, said the accused allegedly provided shelter to Bangladeshi JMB cadres, including Tarikul Islam and Nasirullah, who have been absconding since the blast in Burdwan on October 02 last year.

"Today, this accused Wahab Momin (was) produced before this court, he was arrested yesterday at 5.30 p.m. (1200 GMT) from Sealdah station and now today, I have produced the accused and we are praying before the learned court for further police custody for at least 10 days. The court has considered and 10 days allowed. The next date has been produced on 31st of this month. The accused was wanted in this case since long from the date of blast which is October 02 in Khagragar blast case," said Ghosh on Sunday.
The Director General (DG) of NIA, Sharad Kumar, on October 24 last year visited blast sites in eastern India to monitor the probe.
In the Burdwan explosion two suspected terrorists were killed after a crude bomb went off in a house, where they were making bombs. It is believed to be a botched plot by Bangladeshi Islamist militants to kill Bangladesh's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
