The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday arrested two people from Jammu for their involvement in the Bahadur Ali Case.

Bahadur Ali was arrested by the NIA on July 25 for conspiring to carry out terror attacks in the national capital and prominent cities of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the NIA investigation, Zahoor Ahmed Peer and Nazir Ahmed Peer provided material and logistic support to Bahadur Ali soon after his infiltration into Indian Territory.

The Army had claimed to have recovered a large quantity of incriminating material, including arms and ammunition from the accused.

Both Zahoor Ahmed Peer and Nazir Ahmed Peer are residents of Kupwara in Jammu and Kashmir and were arrested following further investigation in the Bahadur Ali Case. The NIA will be seeking the transit remand of these accused persons and will bring them to Delhi for further questioning.
