The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has claimed that Pakistan's Inter Services Intelligence ( ISI) and other agencies are funding activities of the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a charge-sheet filed in a court against Hizb-ul-Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin and nine others, the NIA said this funding is taking place through cross-border trade between India and Pakistan, and other methods.
It claimed that so far there has been an inflow of Rs.80 crore into the coffers of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen since 2005.
The chargesheet was filed last Saturday and taken cognizance of by a NIA special court in Delhi on Tuesday.
The NIA chargesheet says Hizb-ul-Mujahideen activists crossed over to Pakistan in the garb of traders, and misused these identities to send money and weapons to the Indian side from PoK and Pakistan.
It said some truck drivers were also involved in it.

These funds were received by HuM cadres known as "relief takers", the NIA claimed.
It further revealed that it has evidence that "around 263 individuals based in PoK who are assigned the work of relief takers in Pakistan/PoK" are active terrorists of HuM.
The NIA chargesheet also says that the monthly remuneration of HuM cadres had increased from Rs 2000-3000 per month in 1990s to Rs 10,000-12,000 per month in 2011.
It also said the terror outfit had developed a set-up for distribution of funds to its sympathizers and others and also provide money to its cadres for contesting court cases.
