Nicki Minaj will leave the judging panel of the singing reality TV show 'American Idol' after the season ends on Thursday night.
According to Us magazine, the 30-year-old singer will become the second judge to leave the panel after Randy Jackson, the last original judge, announced his departure last week, the New York Daily News reported.
Unconfirmed reports have suggested the whole four-person judging panel will be leaving after a season in which the show's ratings went down by more than 20 percent from last year's level.
A source said that it is safe to say that Minaj won't be returning.
The insider said that Minaj had a good time on the show, but was only going there for one season.
