Nightingales Home Health Services on Monday announced its association with DaVita, the global major in kidney care and the largest chain of standalone dialysis and kidney care centers in India.
Through this association, Nightingales and DaVita have come together to launch pre and post dialysis continuum of care and home Hemodialysis for patients of End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) with the entire setup of dialysis being installed at the patient's home.

Chronic kidney disease is emerging amongst the most prevalent chronic diseases globally and rapidly increasing particularly in patients suffering from diabetes and hypertension. In India too diabetes and hypertension account for 40 to 60 percent of the cases with chronic kidney disease and currently 229 million people in the country have incidence of end stage kidney disease and need renal replacement therapy.
Every year India adds more than 3 lakh new people who require some form or Renal Replacement Therapy. Bangalore alone has close to 4,000 patients on Hemodialysis. However, less than 100 patients in India are currently on Home Hemodialysis (HHD).
