Former Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Sunday said that the Janata Parivar has made the work of the Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) easier by electing Nitish Kumar as their chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming state assembly polls.
"We are ready to give unconditional support to the BJP. We will take a decision on June 26 over the places we are going to contest the polls from. They (Janata Parivar) have made our work easier by electing Nitish Kumar as their chief ministerial candidate," said Manjhi.
Manjhi had on Thursday met BJP president Amit Shah in the national capital after which he stated that his party, the Hindustani Awam Morcha, and the BJP would contest the Bihar elections together.
The Bihar Assembly elections are due later this year as the tenure of the current state legislative assembly expires on November 29, 2015.
