The Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday said JD (U) leader Nitish Kumar's greed had led to the political crisis in Bihar and his party will face the consequences of its actions in the Bihar Assembly elections scheduled later this year.
"I think it is the greed of Mr Nitish Kumar which has led to the entire crisis in Bihar over the last 10 days, the state has been in a state of political uncertainty," BJP spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao told ANI.
"I think by making unwarranted remarks and now by choosing to protest against Governor's address in the Assembly, the Janata Dal (United) is sending out a very negative message that they have no respect for the institution of the Governor and no respect for the constitution," he added.
Rao further said the people of Bihar were observing everything and the Janta Dal (United) would face the consequences of its actions during the Assembly elections later this year.
"The people of Bihar are watching this and the JD (U) will face the consequences of its actions when elections are held later this year," he stated.
