Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's Foreign Affairs advisor has reportedly said that no back channel diplomacy is on between India and Pakistan at the moment.
Speaking at the meeting of a Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz confirmed that no meeting has been scheduled between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meeting that is due to take place in September, reported The Express Tribune.
He also added that Pakistan is still committed to starting a meaningful dialogue process despite the cancellation of foreign secretary level talks by India.
