It seems there is no respite for Indian one-day cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni from trollers who have some link with real estate major Amrapalli Group.
After residents of Amrapali Saphhire housing society in Noida targetted Dhoni on Twitter over the delay in the completion of pending work in the property, buyers of Amrapali Golf Homes are now tagging the cricketing icon through their tweets.
Amrapalli Golf Homes was launched in 2009 and the possession of over 4000 flats was to be handed out to buyers by January 2015.
But as on date, the construction of the flats is still underway in Noida Extension, some of the buildings are still not ready to move into and buyers say construction workers are missing from the site.
In their last meeting with Amrapali Group Chairman and Managing Director Dr Anil Kumar Sharma, flat owners were told that they would get possession of their flats only in 2017. This irked the buyers, who are now tagging Dhoni and wanting him to intervene as he is Amrapalli's brand ambassador.
One buyer, Dileep Kumar, tweeted, "We are paying huge EMIs to the bank and also paying rent. Amrapali is not giving possession of our homes. Please help us."

Another buyer, Gagan Sidana, wrote, "When other builder can deliver well before time line and that to with quality then why not Amrapali #amrapalimisusedhoni."
On Sunday, Dhoni said he will take up the matter with the builder. He said that those involved in the real estate sector are currently experiencing hardship, but added that, "But at the same time, whatever is promised irrespective of where they stand, I think it needs to be met."
In a statement, the Amrapali Group's Assistant Manager, Marketing and CRM, Kamal Bhatnagar said, "All constructions was stalled for more than three years because of the legal and other statuary issues which was beyond our control. We are positively working on and shall fulfill our all commitments. As regards to compensate them for delay, we are of the opinion that, we are ready to compensate and have been compensating if delay occurs due to our fault. For the reason beyond our control we neither burden escalation on our buyer nor, compensate them. We have completed maximum construction and likely to apply for occupation certificate, and shall start possession, at the earliest."
Buyers, who are paying back bank loans and rent for their existing accommodation, are the worst sufferers and now are pinning their hopes on Dhoni to get them a roof over their heads.
