The Islamic State (IS) reportedly duped a mother into eating a meal made of her own son's meat in Iraq, a British soldier battling the terror group on the frontline, alongside Kurdish troops, has said.
Yasir Abdulla said that a mother, whose son had been captured by the terror group and taken as a prisoner to Mosul, visited the IS headquarters and asked to see her son. She was asked by militants to sit down and have some food before she was taken to meet her son. They brought her cups of tea and served her a meal of cooked meat, rice and soup. When she demanded to see her son after finishing the meal, they laughed and said, "You've just eaten him," reported The Daily Express.
Abdulla, who left behind his wife and children at their Yorkshire home for six months to fight for his Kurdish homeland, said that the disturbing story was the reason of his hatred against the IS and had compelled him to return to his war-ravaged native county and "finish the job."
He said that there is no limit to IS' depravity, adding that the terror group burns people alive and chops off their heads.
"They are not Muslims, they have hijacked Islam. All they do is hate," Abdullah said.
The shocking incident is just the latest in a string of brutal executions and punishments administered by the terror group.
