Google has added the Colorado River to its virtual mapping service, Street View.
Google made the images from this expedition available in Google Maps.
According to Techcrunch, with the new imagery, people can now take a look at all the famous spots, including Deer Creek Falls, North Canyon, the Nankoweap Granaries, and the Hermit Shale and Tapeats Sandstone, on the river that aren't usually accessible without heading down the river.
The company also quietly launched imagery of the San Francisco shoreline a few weeks ago and before that, it took Street View to the canals of Venice and Copenhagen, the report added.
