A new "digital condom" has been developed that sends mild electrical impulses through the material to create pleasurable sensations.

The condom, which is called 'Electric Eel' features a sleeve made of fabric attached to a harness that fits under the user's arms and generates electric pulses, News.com.au reported.

The creators of the unique condom Firaz Peer and Andrew Quitmeyer from Georgia Tech's Digital Media Program said on their website that the mission of their work is to promote sexual empowerment through physical computing, education and outreach.
