The number 3, it seems, has proved extremely tragic for the Munde- Mahajan families.
Union Minister Gopinath Munde died on June 3, 2014, while his brother-in-law, senior BJP leader and former union minister Pramod Mahajan died on May 3, 2006.
Munde, who was recently sworn in as Union Minister for Rural Development in the Narendra Modi government, tragically passed away this morning after meeting with an accident in the national capital.
Pramod Mahajan was shot at and fatally injured by his brother, Pravin Mahajan, over a family dispute on April 22, 2006.
He succumbed to his wounds 13 days later on May 3.
Pravin, who was sentenced to life in prison by the court in 2007, died of brain haemorrhage in March 3, 2010.
