The daughter of notorious Nazi Rudolf Hoss, who was hanged after he admitted to killing one million Jews, has claimed that the recorded number of Holocaust victims is overstated.
In a revealing interview, Brigitte Hoss, 80, expressed remorse for those who died, but asked if so many people had survived then how could so many be claimed dead, the New York Daily News reported.
Brigitte, who lived in a Dachau concentration camp from ages 1 to 5, asserted that people always make things worse than it is.
Brigitte added that the wished that the National Holocaust Museum was not located in Washington, D.C., near where she lives, but should be at Auschwitz or in Israel.
Rudolf was the commandant of Auschwitz where more than one million Jews were exterminated.
