The make out session in cinema halls has always been a sneaky act; cramped seats, disapproving glares, couples hiding in the dark in the back of the theatre.
The AMC Loews theater on West 84th Street has undergone heavy renovation, including fully reclining red leather-like loveseats, and has become the only cinema in Manhattan to boast of a seating option that cries out for amorous activity, the New York Post reported.
The theatre, now has about 75 percent fewer seats in each of its six auditoriums to house the roomier seats.
Earlier this year, the theatre was called the Worst Movie Theater in NYC by Gothamist - and received a "C" grade from the department of the health.
The theatre has now become the best makeout multiplex in Manhattan and at the same 13.50-dollar-adult-ticket it was before the place got renovated.
The new loveseats have become a huge hit with the teens.
