The New Zealand cricket team was stuck for three days in a hotel on their tour of Bangladesh, as the country was virtually shut down during the Eid religious holiday and the second Test venue was locked up.
According to Stuff.co.nz, the visitors had to then play on some dicey, under-prepared net pitches at the training ground.
Black caps player Kane Williamson said that the side had not done much at all and there was a little coffee shop across the road, which was getting a hammering, adding that it was just gym sessions mainly while they were stuck in the hotel.
He added that it was quite difficult because the tracks were quite different in Bangladesh and the bowlers had to bowl faster and straighter to bring in more modes of dismissal, adding that the humidity was the toughest part.
