US President Barack Obama has apologized to a military couple for spoiling their wedding as it got conflicted with his golf game.
Newlyweds Natalie Heimel and Edward Mallue Jr., both captains in the U.S. Army, had planned their wedding for December 28 but they were later informed that they need to change the venue of the wedding, E! Online reported.
The duo had sent an invitation to Obama but he apologized for not coming through a personal note but the couple received another personal note from the President for changing the venue from Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course.
Jamie McCarthy, Mallue's sister, told Bloomberg that it was kind of ironic they got the letter from them and then, within hours, they were told they had to be moved due to him and in less than 24 hours they had to change everything they had planned.
