United States President Barack Obama has praised Africa's business and economic potential in a speech in Kenya saying that "Africa is on the move".
According to the BBC, Obama said, at the business summit in Nairobi on the first day of his visit, that people in Africa are being lifted out of poverty and that the middle class is growing.
Obama said, addressing the young entrepreneurs and businesspeople that Africa needs to be a "future hub of global growth
Obama has also praised Kenya's business class calling it "dynamic".
He is expected to call for greater efforts to tackle corruption.
He will visit a memorial to the 1998 US embassy bombing, before talks on security.
