President Barack Obama has been recently criticized for offering a casual salute with a coffee cup in his raised hand, while walking off Marine One, it has been reported.
US President had just stepped of his helicopter with Michelle Obama in NYC, where he was expected to speak at the U.N, when the half-hearted salute incident occurred, TMZ.com reported.
Some critics quickly pounced on the salute and claimed that it was an un-Presidential break from protocol, while supporters called it meaningless.
President was holding his suit coat together in his left hand.
However, the White House didn't think it was a big deal since they posted a brief video of the account on its official Instagram.
