President Barack Obama has said the US will not get terrorized by latest terror threats against U.S. diplomatic facilities abroad.

Obama warned the would-be attackers that the United States does not back down by any threat.

According to Politico, at Camp Pendleton, near San Diego, he said that the United States is never going to retreat from the world, adding that the nation does not get terrorized.

Though U.S. and other allied forces have decimated the al Qaeda leadership, Obama said that the militant group's affiliates and likeminded extremists still threaten the nation, the report said.

The administration has closed diplomatic facilities in Egypt, Jordan, Libya, Yemen, Saudi Arabia and other countries out of an abundance of caution, the State Department said.
