Taxi aggregator Ola has announced the launch of 'One way' trip fares on Ola Outstation for smart mobility solution for inter-city travel.
Bringing more flexibility, convenience and cost-effectiveness to the recently launched Ola Outstation; the introduction of 'One-way' fares allows customers to avail one-way bookings at reduced fares.
One-way on Outstation gives customers the option of booking a cab for an outstation trip without having to pay for a round trip that they haven't taken. This has been made possible due to the sheer scale of Ola, as the largest transportation platform, connecting 500+ cities and towns across India with its unique Outstation offering.
"Ola Outstation is a 'made for India' solution, bringing the unique Ola experience to inter-city travel, with the same level of convenience and reliability. Through Ola Outstation, we are structuring the fragmented outstation travel segment like never before. With the introduction of 'One-way' trip fares, we are bringing increased affordability, from the efficiencies of scale that our platform has built," said CMO and Head of Categories Ola, Raghuvesh Sarup.
"Connecting over 500 cities across the country, Ola Outstation is yet another step in keeping with our mission to build mobility for a billion Indians by providing locally relevant, smart and sustainable mobility solutions," added Sarup.
'One way' trips have been rolled out in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Ahmedabad and Kanpur and the number of cities are set to grow substantially in the next two months.
Ola Outstation comes with the best fleet of cars and trained, verified and top rated driver partners. To ensure that a customer enjoys a smooth and comfortable on-road experience, every cab on the Outstation category goes through a stringent 22 point check.
