Australia cricket team's chief selector Rod Marsh has stated that he is not confident that captain Michael Clarke would be fit for the first Test against Pakistan, even though the match is still six weeks away.
However, Marsh is confident that Clarke would do everything he can to overcome his hamstring injury for next month's Test series, even if that means missing the preceding one-day matches, The Daily Telegraph reported.
Clarke, who has a history of hamstring trouble, broke down in the ODI match against Zimbabwe in Harare on August 31, the report added.
