Former Australian Olympic swimmer Scott Miller was reportedly revealed to be the owner of a brothel during a court case in Sydney in which he pleaded guilty to a drug offence.
The Atlanta Olympics silver medallist was arrested in June after police stopped a car he was driving and discovered three small bags of ice, 15,000 dollars and scales in a black Versace bag, mobile phones, SIM cards and a ledger containing phone numbers and sums of cash.
According to Telegraph.com.au, Miller pleaded guilty to one count of possession after police dropped three other charges, including drug supply, when Miller's lawyer proved that it was not unusual for the swimmer to handle large sums of money because at that time he was running an escort agency.
The report further said that the one-time 100m butterfly world champion was later locked up after police arrested him a second time after allegedly found 7.75g of ice on him, adding that after his release, Miller and his partner checked into a drug rehabilitation centre.
Miller's lawyer further said that he no longer ran the escort agency, with the report adding that Miller will be sentenced in January 2014.
