Ozzy Osbourne has confessed that he was stunned to win the "living" legend award, as his behaviour nearly killed him.
The singer, who won the Best Album and Event Of The Year awards with Black Sabbath, also paid tribute to wife Sharon for saving his life.
The 64-year-old rock vocalist, who has battled with drink and drugs, falling off the wagon earlier this year said that he did a good job of being the living dead himself, at the event held at Camden's Roundhouse in London.
Ozzy said that he is alive because he has a strong wife, the Daily Express reported.
He added that when he was 21, he said that he would be dead by 40.
