The Delhi High Court on Thursday refused to cancel former TERI chief R K Pachauri's bail plea, saying the matter required a detailed hearing.
Pachauri was questioned by the Delhi Police on Sunday in connection with the alleged sexual harassment case lodged against him.
On May 21, a local court had declined to allow Pachauri to enter his office and also noted the slow progress of the sexual harassment probe filed against him. It asked the police to complete the investigation by July 17.
An FIR was registered against Pachauri on February 13 on charges of sexual harassment under Sections 354, 354(a), 354(d) (molestation) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.
