Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao has demanded punishment and a rematch against his fierce rival Floyd Mayweather, who was alleged of breaching drug testing rules on the eve of their mega-fight four months ago.

The eight-division world champion called on the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) to be consistent and urged it to impose the appropriate sanction on Mayweather in order to sustain its credibility.

Mayweather was accused of receiving an intravenous injection of saline and vitamins, that was banned under World Anti-Doping Agency guidelines, ahead of his multi-million dollar fight against Pacquiao.

Pacquiao, who lost a unanimous decision to the American, said that he wants to have a rematch without any preferential treatment to the Mayweather camp, Sport24 reported.

Earlier, the Filipino was prevented from receiving a pain-killing shot two hours before the bout because the Nevada Athletics Commission (NAC) were not aware of his shoulder injury.

Meanwhile, Mayweather had denied all the allegations levelled against him and described himself as a 'clean athlete'.

He further said that he always stood for elevating the level of drug testing for all his fights, insisting that there is an increased awareness of its importance in the sport now.

Earlier, Mayweather had declared that his game against Andre Berto on Saturday would be his last as a professional boxer and if he succeeds then he will equal former world heavyweight champion Rocky Marciano's record of 49-0.
