An anti-terrorism court in Pakistan has indicted former military ruler General Parvez Musharraf in the murder case of Baloch nationalist Nawab Akbar Bugti.
According to Dawn News, Musharraf's counsel provided a medical report to the court requesting it to exempt Musharraf from appearing in the court.
Musharraf is undergoing back pain due to which he would not be able to appear in the court, said the ex-army ruler's counsel.
However, the court said that Musharraf would only be exempted from appearance only when the medical board informs it about his health.
The court hearing has been adjourned to 4th February.
Akbar Bugti was killed on 26th August in 2006 in a cave during a military crackdown that was ordered by Musharraf who the ruling army chief and President at the time.
