Shahid Afridi and Anwar Ali's splendid knock helped Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by one wicket in the second Twenty20 game in Colombo on Saturday.
Opting to bat first, Sri Lanka scored 172-7 with Chamara Kapugedera remaining unbeaten on 48 and Shehan Jayasuriya scoring a quick 40.
Pakistan chased down the paltry target of 172 in 19.2 overs, thanks to Shahid Afridi's 45 off 22 balls, Anwar Ali's 46 off 17 balls and Imad Wasim's unbeaten 24 off 14 balls, which included the winning six as well.
Afridi praised Imad and Anwar for their excellent performance, hoping that they would continue to perform like this in future as well, Sport24 reported.
Anwar Ali was adjudged the Man of the Match.
With this win, Pakistan won the T20 series 2-0. Shoaib Malik was declared the Man of the Series.
