After Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for resolute action against those supporting and financing extremist organisations, Union Minister for Statistics and Programme Implementation D.V. Sadananda Gowda has said that Pakistan is a source of terrorism and that is the reason they feel the pinch whenever India point fingers at them.
"They will feel the pinch. They think that 'oh yes they have been pinpointing us, but he (Prime Minister Modi) has not named any country. Whichever country supports terrorism; that he has pointed out. That's why Pakistan should think that yes it is the PM who has made an allegation against us. Just because they are supporting terrorism, they feel that yes it is just like naming us" Gowda told ANI.
"Modi has urged all in the country and across the world to fight against terrorism, it is one of the things that needs to be curbed, otherwise the whole world will drawing to an end in the coming days," he added.
Gowda further said that whoever supports terrorism must be isolated in the international fora and see that no such country harbours terrorist forces.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at the inauguration of the sixth 'Heart of Asia' conference here "We must demonstrate strong collective will to defeat terror networks that cause bloodshed and spread fear. Terrorism, externally induced instability, poses gravest threat to Afghanistan's peace, stability and prosperity".
Extending India's support to Afghanistan in combating terrorism, Prime Minister Modi said, "As such, support for voices of peace in Afghanistan alone is not enough. It must be backed by a resolute action. Silence and inaction against terrorism in Afghanistan and our region will only embolden terrorists and their masters".

Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said, "The first and foremost in our view is continuing violence and acts of terrorism claiming scores of human lives. This needs to be addressed urgently and effectively through collective efforts. The security situation in Afghanistan is very complex.
