Pakistani-born England cricketer Azhar Mahmood has said that he is ready to pass on his experience to Pakistan's national team for the ICC World Twenty20 in Bangladesh.

Mahmood, who played 21 Tests and 142 ODIs, decided to move to the United Kingdom to play county cricket and look for opportunities around the globe and has played in a variety of T20 competitions around the world such as the IPL, Ram Slam T20, Big Bash League, Bangladesh Premier League, Caribbean Premier League and others

According to www.PakPassion.net, Mahmood is a seasoned campaigner who has played alongside and against most of the world's best cricketers and as he stated that he wishes to pass on his experience to his countrymen should the opportunity arise.

Mahmood is particularly keen to offer his assistance as Pakistan prepare for the World T20, saying that he owes a debt of gratitude to his country and maintains he is a Pakistani first, adding that it would be an honour to give something back to Pakistan cricket.

Given the recent issues in Pakistan's batting fortunes and also a dip in their bowling form, many would consider Mahmood's offer of help as a golden opportunity to leverage knowledge off a player who has a wealth of experience in this form of the game, which could prove to be a crucial advantage for Pakistan, the report added.
