A Pakistani court has adjourned the hearing of the bail plea filed by former president retired General Pervez Musharraf to November 4 in the case related to the killing of cleric Ghazi Abdul Rasheed.

Meanwhile, Musharraf 's trial in the Lal Masjid raid case has also been postponed to November 11 following a request from the counsel for more time to present other important evidences, Dawn News reports.

Islamabad's additional district and sessions judge (ADSJ) Wajid Ali heard Musharraf's bail application without arriving at a resolution, and said his trail had to be postponed as it could not be commenced until a notification was received in that respect.

It was alleged during the hearing that the police had destroyed all the evidence, and declared Musharraf 'innocent' in the murder of cleric Rasheed.

Musharraf was booked in the murder case of cleric Rasheed on September 2, after the cleric's son approached the Islamabad High Court to register an FIR against the former president for ordering the 2007 raid operation.
