Pakistan's Foreign Office has reportedly summoned Indian High Commissioner Dr. T.C.A. Raghavan in Islamabad to discuss the issue of the 'Indian spy drone' and violation of the Islamic republic's airspace.

The meeting came a day after the country's Army said it had shot down an alleged Indian spy drone after it was spotted inside Pakistani territory near Bhimber along the Line of Control, reported The Express Tribune.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a brief statement that spy drones are used aerial photography.

However, the picture provided by the ISPR showed that the drone was of a commercial variety. Industry experts said that such unmanned models were sold openly for aerial filming and could contain no secret military technology.

Meanwhile, Indian army has denied that any such incident, involving a drone or UAV crash of the army, has taken place.
