Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah leader of opposition in Pakistan's National Assembly has said that the country's armed forces are fully prepared to thwart any aggression of India and whole nation is behind the forces.
Shah made the remarks during a joint news conference along with Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah in Sukkur yesterday.
He said that the people of Sindh stand by federal government and Pakistan Army and befitting response will be given in case of Indian offensive, reports the Radio Pakistan.
Relations between both the arch-rivals is running on a tense note over terrorism and rising tensions at borders and has only escalated following the terrorist attack at army base camp in Uri sector in Jammu and Kashmir in which 18 Indian soldiers lost their lives.
