Pakistan forces resorted to heavy firing along the International Border in Kanachack, R S Pura and Pargwal Sectors of Jammu.
The firing which started around 9 p.m last night is still continuing. Two civilians were injured in the firing in R S Pura sector. BSF troops have been retaliating to the firing from across the border effectively.
As many as 40 BSF posts in R S Pura and Akhnoor Sector were reportedly targeted. Howevere, the BSF troops have given a strong and befitting reply.
The firing is reportedly still continuing at some places in Pargwal.
There have been no reports of loss or damage to the BSF so far.
A 10-year-old boy Ankush, who is a resident of Flora village in Arnia was reportedly injured. Cattle have also been hurt by the cross-border firing.
