Pakistan forces resorted to heavy firing along the International Border in Kanachack, R.S. Pura and Pargwal Sectors of Jammu.
The firing started around 9 PM last night which is still going on. Two civilians were injured in the firing in R. S. Pura sector. BSF troops have been retaliating to the firing from across the border effectively.
As many as 40 BSF posts in R S Pura and Akhnoor Sector were reportedly targeted. BSF troops gave a strong and befitting reply.
Firing is reportedly still continuing at some places in Pargwal.
There are no reports of loss or damage to the BSFso far.
A 10-year-old boy-Ankush-who is a resident of Flora village in Arnia was reportedly injured. Cattle to have been hurt by the cross-border firing.
On Monday morning, Pakistani Rangers resorted to heavy mortar shelling and firing from across the international border and Line of Control in Jammu and Poonch sectors, triggering a strong condemnation by India.
As many as five civilians were killed and nearly 30 others injured in the heavy shelling along R S Pura sector by Pak troops yesterday.
