A Pakistani hacker has reportedly defaced the website of an Indian university that recently suspended 67 Kashmiri students over their alleged support to Pakistan cricket team in their Asia Cup match against India.

Official website of Meerut's Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU) was defaced by the hacker as an act of 'revenge' against the university.

According to Express Tribune, the hacker identified himself as H4$N4!N H4XOR (Hasnain Haxor), and claimed responsibility for the alleged attack.

The hacker left anti-India messages and a clipping of news about the suspension of the students, and saying in a message, "Feel the revenge of Pakistan Haxors Crew. We are sleeping but not dead."

In another message, the hacker wrote that Jammu and Kashmir were part of Pakistan and that they would soon liberate it from India.

The Kashmiri students were expelled from the hostel when they expressed support for Pakistani team during the match against India, offending the locals that lead to clashes, after which they were charged with disturbing communal harmony.
