Pakistan's President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have expressed grief and sorrow over the death of at least 11 people, including seven women and three children in a bus mishap on the Khairpur Nathan Shah bypass following the vehicle's contact with a high-voltage electric cable.
Police said that 34 other persons were injured in the incident that took place near Dadu
According to the Dawn, Sharif asked the concerned authorities to ensure that such incidents do not happen again.
He also said that the best medical treatment should be provided to the injured at the local hospital.
Fifteen of the injured have been admitted to the Civil Hospital Dadu which does not have a burn ward, but does have doctors available.
Fifteen are admitted to the Larkana Medical University Hospital where there is a burn ward, while two are being treated at the People's Medical University Hospital in Nawabshah.
