Pakistan's former Test captain, Aamir Sohail, has said that the country's chances in the ICC Champions Trophy depend on their adaptability to the conditions.
The Daily Times quoted Aamir, as saying that conditions will play a very important role in Pakistan's chances for this premier 8-nation contest. He said batting will be the key area in focus and if they do well, the team will have bright chances to reach the semi-final.
Misbahul Haq's and his men will launch their campaign when they take on West Indies in their opening matches on June 7.
Aamir was of the view that captain Misbah should give confidence to young batsmen like Nasir Jamshed, Umar Amin and Asad Shafiq.
He said the Pakistani batsmen struggled in the opening one-day international against Scotland because of seaming conditions there.
