After the Pakistan Parliament passed another anti-India resolution over the unprovoked firing on the Line of Control (LOC) which led to the death of an officer and wounded another soldier on Wednesday, Defence Analyst Captain (retired) Bharat Verma termed it as false propaganda, and said that the Indian public will not tolerate attacks on their country anymore.
"The National Assembly of Pakistan is trying to tell the world and trying to garner publicity, saying how reasonable they are and (it is) a false propaganda for a national assembly to pass such a resolution in Pakistan because they are the people who behead our soldiers; they are the people who kill our soldiers; they are people who send infiltration inside India because they want to destabilize India. So, it is time Pakistan realizes that (the) Indian public is not in the mood to tolerate this anymore-it has gone on for too long-and it must set its own house in order," Verma said.
Emphatically stating that Pakistan has established double standards for violence along the LoC, Verma said the neighbouring country has taken undue advantage of India in the past but the country has resolved to fight against any further violations.
"When we retaliate, they call it aggression. It is absolutely amazing and it is also a useless resolution. They can have as many resolutions as they want, but they must understand very clearly that in India there is no mood in this democracy anymore to tolerate Pakistan's infiltration," Verma said.
On Wednesday, a unanimous resolution was passed in a session of the Pakistan National Assembly against the Indian army condemning the cross border firing and asking to hold a dialogue, the Express Tribune reports.
There were reports of firing across border in the Batal, Nakyal areas near Skardu on Wednesday night.
