The Pakistan team management has decided to call off their practice session in Brisbane to have 'emergency meetings' with the squad members in order to instill a 'do-or-die' mentality in the team.
The officials feel that every match is almost a knockout tie for Pakistan in the World Cup now.
Pakistan lost both its Pool B matches so far, the first against archrivals India followed by a humiliating loss to the West Indies in the second.
Pakistan now have to face Zimbabwe, the UAE, South Africa and Ireland in their remaining four group fixtures and in order to qualify for the last-eight without having to rely on other results, they need to win all their remaining matches, The Express Tribune reported.
A team official revealed that they have decided to call off their practice on Monday in Brisbane because the team management wants to talk with players, adding that the coaching staff did so throughout the flight from Christchurch to Brisbane; that is how concerned everyone is.
The official revealed that the players are obviously down after losing back-to-back games and the match against the West Indies seemed to be over in the blink of an eye.

The official claimed that sensing the situation they are in, the team management wants to ensure that the players are in the right frame of mind ahead of their next match, adding that the meeting would be held in groups, on a one-on-one basis and even as a whole unit to try and understand where things are going wrong.
He revealed that head coach Waqar Younis and the rest of the coaching staff would try and help the players get over the mental scarring incurred against India and the West Indies.
The official added that radical measures need to be taken to put Pakistan's campaign back on track as every match they now play would be a do-or-die encounter.
