Pakistan terror casualties have seen a rise of 20 percent since 2012 with nearly 2,500 people killed last year, according to a think-tank report.
The annual security report from the Pakistan Institute for Peace Studies (PIPS) said that the government's "appeasement approach" had let the Taliban make a comeback, the Nation reports.
According to the report, a total of 2,451 people were killed in 2013 in acts of terror, up from 2,050 in 2012.
